15th annual Parade of Nations happening tonight

The CWU Diversity and Equality Center (DEC) is putting on the 15th annual Parade of Nations event this evening from 6-8 p.m. The event will showcase music, dance and apparel from all over the globe, according to a press release. 

The Parade of Nations will take place in the SURC Ballroom and is free to attend. Some of the nations to be represented include Greece, Turkey, Japan, China, India, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Mexico.

Some of the showcases will include traditional dancing from Oceania , presented by the CWU student group Poly Central. Performances will also come from Ellensburg’s own Bollywood group. 

There will also be musical performances from the CWU Black Student Union, Kir Kostaki Ela Konda and others. 

DEC graduate assistant Eriqua Collins is hosting  the event in partnership with the CWU Office of International Studies and Programs.
