National Signing Day has ended and Central’s football program adds another 27 student-athletes. Each player Central signed is from Washington.

This year, Central signed ten players that were on the Seattle Times’ Chip List, which ranks the top 100 players in the state.

The offense added six different wide receivers in their 2016 recruiting class. Three of which were members of the chip list.

Central signed just one running back and one quarterback in this year’s class. The primary focus was on wide receivers and offensive lineman.

The defense focused on defensive backs and defensive lineman, signing six defensive backs and five respectively. Of those eleven players, five of them were also mentioned in the top 100.

Central went 3-3 in conference last season and finished the season at 5-5 overall. Their 2016 schedule is still undetermined.
