Women’s Soccer game ends in a draw with SFU

The women’s soccer team hosted Simon Fraiser University (SFU) at  Tomlinson Stadium on Saturday, Sep. 24. 

During the first half, two goals were made by CWU, one by sophomore Jordan Bartlow with an assist by freshman Paije Savage and the other by junior Cassidie Andrews with an assist from junior Lily Newberry, while SFU scored one goal. 

The second half consisted of two goals by SFU and one by CWU’s junior Kayla Gout with an assist from junior Emily Darcy. 

The game ended in a tie with the score being 3-3. 

The women’s soccer team’s next match will be on Sep. 29 at Western Oregon University.
