CWU is hosting the Vision and Mission Open Forums throughout the next week in the SURC Ballroom in order to gather feedback from university constituents, according to an email sent by President Wohlpart.

The forums will take place three separate times in person, once virtually and once on the CWU Des Moines campus for Center faculty and staff. Participants are asked to sign up for only one session so that a variety of diverse perspectives have a chance to give suggestions.

Students, staff and faculty will break into groups of eight to review drafts of the mission and vision statements and provide feedback, according to the email.

Contributions and input at the forums will be used by the Steering Committee while they create a final draft statement for Executive Leadership Team Review.

According to Wohlpart’s email, the Board of Trustees is aiming to approve final drafts of the mission and vision statements during their May meeting.
