Natalie Hyland
Junior Natalie Hyland is now in her second quarter of being the Sports Editor for the Observer. Prior to taking the position, Hyland learned the ins and outs of sports writing from former editor Mitchell Johnson.

From Mitchell, Hyland learned to “throw [herself] to the wolves” and learn to fly. She also learned to not worry so much about how others thought of her. Hyland had implemented these life lessons and thoughts into her current position.

Hyland if on track to graduate spring 2019 and is unsure of what she will do after school. She is pursuing a double major in public relations and journalism, and is considering the field of professional sports.

Hyland developed the love for hockey at a young age. Her favorite team is the Las Vegas Golden Knights. She expresses a desire to work in media relations with a team similar.
