Traveling brings happiness and peace of mind. The journey, the destination and the memories in new places all add up to the ultimate experiences that a person can have in their lifetime. It may tend to break the bank, but it’s beneficial to a healthy lifestyle.

When I travel, I feel stress-free and happy knowing that I get to explore a place that I have never been to before. It brings me joy and if I was feeling down before a trip, all that goes away as soon as I arrive at my destination.

From my first time at Disneyland to my first time in Europe, I felt happy and free. According to the Yale Tribune, the planning of a trip alone can contribute to a person’s happiness. Traveling has also been scientifically proven to reduce stress, which is always good for mental health.

When I first stepped off the plane and into the Zurich airport in Switzerland, I felt so much excitement. For the two weeks I spent in Europe, I was care-free and enjoying my time to explore different countries and experience different cultures.

The happiness I feel when I get to escape my life for a vacation is the best feeling because I know that I get to view the world from a different perspective and learn what I miss when I stay at home all the time.

The world is a big place and there is so much to learn and see, since traveling makes people happier, why not explore as many new places as possible.
