The Diversity and Equity Center (DEC) and Office of International Studies and Programs are putting on the annual Parade of Nations on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.

Different from the previous Parade of Nations events, this year’s parade event will be completely virtual, according to a release from the DEC and the Office of International Studies and Programs.

“This year’s virtual setting taking place in February will allow us to be more creative than ever,” the release said.

Such creativity can be shown through traditional dances, music performances, fashion and more.

The first night of the Parade of Nations is “Trivia Wednesday: Travel The World.” The DEC is partnering with Campus Activities and Recreation for a round of trivia about traveling the world. The event will be on their Twitch channel (twitch.tv/cwurecreation) at 7 p.m on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

The main event will be on Thursday, Feb. 25 via Zoom from 6-7:30 p.m. This is when performances will occur.

It is too late for students to sign up to perform in the main event. There was a deadline of Feb. 4 for students to register to participate.

Attendees are asked to register prior to the main event via linktr.ee/DiversityCWU.
