A multi-car collision resulted in three wrecked cars, the takedown of a power line on Alder Street and a bashed wall of Rodeo City Apartments occurred today at approximately 3:15 p.m. Reportedly, no one was seriously harmed or injured.

According to nearby residents, a red Ford F-150 rear-ended a white truck, which then dislocated the base of a power line, cracking it in half. The red Ford continued on to crash into a silver Kia, which hit a nearby apartment.

Police arrived soon after. Construction crews arrived with a new power line pole around an hour after.

Shyanne Werdal, the owner of the silver Kia, was made aware of the accident by way of multiple phone calls. “Oh my god. You have to get home right now,” a friend said to her over the phone.

Werdal was told that she would not be able to stay in her apartment that night. Another tenant expressed his concern. “I hope we don’t have to move,” Manuh Santos, Werdal’s neighbor said.
